Xterra World Championships – Sunday, October 29, 2017 – Kapalua Resort
More than 800 athletes from 46 countries will gather at Kapalua Resort at 9am on Sunday, October 29 for the 22nd edition of the XTERRA World Championship of offroad triathlon.
The race pits professional and amateur athletes against Mother Nature over a 1.5K swim at D.T. Fleming Beach, a 32 kilometer mountain bike on the slopes of the west Maui mountains, and a 10.5 kilometer trail run. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is the place to watch the start, transitions to the bike and the run, and all the emotion of the finish.
