2024 Kapalua Wine & Food Festival Announces Charity Beneficiaries

The Board of Directors for Kapalua Maui Charities and the annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival are pleased to support charitable beneficiaries from the 2024 event.

The benefitting charities for the 2024 event were chosen for their contributions to education, food and beverage security/sustainability and commitment to the West Maui community.

Charities awarded funding include:

University of Hawaii Maui Culinary Arts Program – to benefit student scholarships and programming

Pu‘u Kukui Watershed Preserve – to help with the stewardship of West Maui’s water resources

Lahainaluna Boarders Association – for assistance and support of the Lahainaluna High School Agriculture Program

Lahaina Restoration Foundation – to protect and revive the legacy of historic Lahaina town and its culture and heritage

Aloha Wine Foundation – to unite, educate and inspire Hawaii’s sommelier community

Montage Kapalua Bay Announces New Water Experiences

On the crystal-clear waters of West Maui, experience a diverse range of local marine life and a chance to encounter sea turtles, dolphins, tropical fish and the seasonal whale population. As you paddle along the coastline surrounding Kapalua Bay, admire stunning views of lush tropical foliage, volcanic rock formations and a vibrant bird population. This is a 1.5-hour experience. All guests must be able to swim, pull themselves into a kayak from the water and wear a life jacket. This experience is suitable for guests 10 years of age and older who meet all of the above requirements. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Other water experiences recently introduced include Kapalua Bay Shore Dive and Intro to Scuba Diving.
