The PGA TOUR’s Opening Drive kicks off at The Sentry during the first week of January. Tickets are now on sale for the first Signature Event of the 2025 season. Fans will have the opportunity to experience The Plantation Course like never before, with access to tournament grounds, select food and beverage offerings from local chefs and restaurants, and intimate viewing spots throughout the course to witness the PGA TOUR’s finest compete.

Maui Music & Food Experience

Never before has Maui had an event like this. 25 musicians, seven celebrity chefs including ALL of Gordan Ramsay’s Next Level Chef S3 finalists and much more at the Maui Music & Food Experience September 5-7, 2024.

Crafted by the Hua Momona Foundation, the inaugural Maui Music & Food Experience was created to continue the Foundation’s efforts to raise funds for the recovery efforts of the Lahaina Community. Since last August, the Foundation has donated over 52k free meals and hosted over 2,400 volunteers.

The weekend festivities include:

“Night at the Farm” at Hua Momona Farms, an intimate gathering consisting of chef stations paired with world-class wines and music

“Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Maui”, a concert format gala with celebrity chefs, a live auction, multiple music acts and more

“Music at the MACC”, guests will gather at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) for a one-of-a-kind outdoor concert in the courtyard followed by a special indoor concert

The Sentry Announces Record $735,694 Raised for Maui Community

The largest charitable donation to local organizations since the event moved to Maui in 1999

The Sentry, alongside representatives from Sentry Insurance, proudly announced that more than a dozen Maui non-profit organizations benefitted from the 2024 event, which generated $735,694 in charitable funds.

“There is no other organization in sport which rallies around those in need like the PGA TOUR,” said Max Novena, Executive Director of The Sentry. “The unwavering resilience and optimism displayed by the remarkable people of this community is truly inspiring. As Lahaina continues down its path of recovery and rebuilding, we are deeply committed to supporting West Maui in numerous significant ways for years to come.”

Designated beneficiaries for The Sentry include:– Boy Scouts of America Aloha Council– Hale Makua Health Services– J. Walter Cameron Center– Ka Lima O’ Maui– Lahainaluna High School Foundation– Lahaina Jr. Golf

Additional local non-profits also benefitted from the tournament including HSJGA/First Tee of Hawaii, Maui Junior Golf, Friends of Pu‘u Kukui Watershed, Grow Some Good in partnership with Merriman’s Kapalua, Hua Momona Farms, Hui O Wa‘a Kaula, Kapalua Maui Charities, Kumulani Chapel, University of Hawai‘i Maui College, Maui Striker Soccer Club, Maui Preparatory Academy, and Maui United Way.
